Our Founder’s Story

M.K. Palmore

Founder & Principal Advisor, Apogee Global RMS

M.K. Palmore is an award-winning cybersecurity executive, Marine Corps veteran, and retired FBI Senior Executive whose career spans more than 30 years of leadership across national security, enterprise risk, and the private sector.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, M.K. served as a Marine Corps officer before joining the FBI, where he rose to lead one of the world’s premier cybersecurity investigative teams. Following his federal service, he held executive roles at two of the largest cybersecurity firms in the world — serving as Vice President and Field Chief Security Officer at Palo Alto Networks, and as a Director in the Office of the CISO at Google Cloud.

Drawing on that breadth of experience, M.K. founded Apogee Global RMS to deliver holistic, enterprise-grade cybersecurity risk advisory services to government and commercial clients. His work has been featured in Business Insider, Dark Reading, and SiliconANGLE, and he is a sought-after speaker at leading industry forums including RSA Conference and SANS.
