Adi Rotem is an experienced Negotiation, Crisis Management, and Counterterrorism expert with over 25 years in Israel’s ISA (Israeli Security Agency – Shin Bet). As a long-serving senior member of Israel’s National Negotiation Team—including during the 2023–2024 “Iron Swords” War—he led complex hostage negotiations with international mediators.

Adi advises governments, security agencies, and businesses on strategy, negotiation, and crisis management. As a fellow at the International Institute for Counterterrorism at Reichman University, he blends operational experience with academic insight, helping audiences understand decision-making under extreme pressure.
His work emphasizes mastering emotions and motivations, navigating cultural and linguistic complexities (Hebrew, Arabic, English), and delivering results even in the most sensitive, high-pressure contexts.
